LILA McCANN'S ARMED FORCES ENTERTAINMENT TOUR OF MIDDLE EAST
POSTPONED DUE TO INCREASED MILIARTY ACTION

Country music star Lila McCann was notified this week that her upcoming concert tour, for Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) for the soldiers based in the Middle East was postponed for security reasons. Lila was disappointed by the news as she and her ten-person troupe of musicians and crew were ready to spend most of April performing for the military men and women based in Afghanistan and other undisclosed locations. McCann was informed that USO and AFE tours have been postponed until further notice.

Explains McCann, "We were all set to go and I was very excited to give the soldiers something to look forward to. But we are ready to reschedule and go whenever they give us the word. I am so proud of those men and women over there. My brother was a Marine, so my family was behind me going, but also worried about the escalating scenario over there."

Lila McCann is currently finishing up four songs in the studio and more announcements will be forthcoming.
